With vast experience documenting ceremonies across diverse faiths and cultures/traditions, whether it's a Hindu, Sikh, Christian, Muslim, Jewish, non-denominational or fusion-wedding, I'm able to know and anticipate moments without needing much direction. You won't have to worry about the important parts being missed.
At the same time, I also love celebrating what makes your story unique - whether that means blending cultures, adding modern touches, or doing things your own way. My goal is to honor the beauty of tradition while capturing the love that makes your day truly yours.
We'll be able to work on your photography timeline alongside your planner (contact me for some amazing planners or download the free Wedding Experience PDF Guide to see the list of recommended vendors) and how it would flow into the wedding day seamlessly without feeling like your day is disappearing.
If you've ever said to yourself that you're super awkward in front of the camera, then you're not alone. All the images you see in my portfolio are of real couples that have said the same exact thing. You'll receive stress-free direction and guidance on posing so you'll never feel like you're just guessing.
And having a partner that doesn't enjoy getting their picture taken is all too common. It just takes a comforting, calming, and empathetic individual behind the camera, and I've got you covered.
I document your wedding day as it unfolds as candidly as possible, while giving direction during moments that need it. You're investing in the skill in having your day covered without much interruption, but with enough guidance to help you interact with each other authentically.

Covering many weddings over the years gave me the experience to anticipate and know the best way to take beautiful photos in all weather conditions and all kinds of spaces. You're in good hands with a photographer that can be creative even with mother nature butting in, or in areas with tricky lighting. A few jumbo umbrellas stowed away and my emergency safety pins have saved the day on multiple occasions.
From flat hotel lighting, dim churches, museums, to outdoor jams in the evening, I'll know how to tackle the day. I can provide valuable input on ceremony stage placement, and things that you may not have even thought about - like the best canopy color to avoid strange color casts on your skin during your outdoor ceremony that could be in full mid-day sun!
I make sure to get onto the open dance floor and capture the action head on. Why sit on the sidelines when I could blend into the high energy? The most unforgettable moments happen when people finally let loose, and I make it my mission to capture every epic dance move you and your guests will make.
Capturing the journey leading up to the wedding is just as important. Your Mehndi, Sangeet, Haldi, and other pre-wedding traditions let the excitement and anticipation for your wedding day begin. It's also a great opportunity for me to get to know your closest family and friends, that way I know who to focus on when the big day finally arrives.
No detail is too small, and on a wedding day the phrase, "It's the small things that count" is often repeated. It's no different in documenting a wedding where the details are equally important and showcase the hard work you put into your day to make it uniquely yours. Not only that, the hard work the other vendors put into your day, too.
Speaking of details, don't forget to download the free Wedding Experience Guide PDF below to learn more about the way I capture weddings and helpful tips that I've learned over the years.
You're getting a personalized and hands-on approach from start to finish. Every image is edited individually right here, in-house for a consistent film-like, but bold signature style throughout with attention to detail. It's a natural, true-to-life style - the way you're intended to look.
Your images are protected as soon as they're taken with cameras that can save media to 2 memory cards, giving me an immediate backup. With a robust backup system where images are saved to 3 different locations after getting home, achieving peace of mind is easy and necessary.
Color images are my personal favorite to show off the bold & loud colors of South Asian / Indian weddings, but there is a beauty to black & white images. It forces us to look deeply into an image and focus on the emotion and storytelling.
That's why I include the black & white versions of key moments and portraits into every package. There is a feeling of timelessness to black & whites and they give simplicity to power.
Besides receiving a password protected online gallery with high-resolution images, couples with a wedding package will receive a USB drive in a custom display case with their names engraved on the front.
However, nothing beats the power of print. With misplaced flash drives and staring at a screen, viewing your images printed in a beautiful, hand-crafted album is an experience that is unlike what you'll get scrolling on your tablet. You'll get to choose the pictures and then I'll make a contemporary album design for you to view and approve - it's that simple.
